A little bit about the destination
The Masai Mara National Reserve is among the most famous in Africa as well as among the most visited. It is relatively easily accessed and offers a huge array of accommodation options from budget to the most luxurious and exclusive camps. Known for it’s large lion population, it is also home to all the stars of the safari animal world and of course is famous for the bi-annual mass migration between here and the contiguous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. And of course we cannot talk about the Masai Mara without mentioning the eponymous Masai tribesmen and women, whose traditions and lifestyle remain alive and vibrant in the park they call home.
