The traditional guided safari doesn’t suit everyone’s style so if you are one of those who enjoys being behind the wheel and the freedom of the open road, Buffalo Safari Cars offers the perfect alternative to Buffalo Safari Camps group scheduled and tailor-made private safaris.
We have five years experience in 4×4 vehicle hire and our fleet of vehicles is Uganda’s most up-to-date with airbags, anti-lock brakes, 3 point seat belts and air-conditioning as standard.
You can rent one of our cars on a self-drive daily basis and head-off into the wilderness (don’t worry, we’ll provide you with a map and a guide book!) or you can follow one of our suggested itineraries around Uganda. If you prefer, you can take one of experienced and highly trained driver guides with you and still make your plan as you go along. He will help you with suggestions on what to do next and be able to make bookings for you as you go along. If you fancy something a little more planned out, we can book the whole trip for you in advance leaving you with nothing to think about apart from the road ahead and the scenery all around.
